Recoup and Recover After Thanksgiving

Recoup and Recover After Thanksgiving

We all know how easy it is to overindulge during Thanksgiving, and sometimes our bodies need a little extra support to get back on track. This is about being Betr, not perfect!

... and this is where we thrive 💪 Here are some tools we use to recoup and recover after a day full of indulgence.

Drink Lots of Water

Don't forget, staying hydrated is key - especially on festive occasions. Aim to drink half of your body weight in ounces to not only keep hydrated but also aid digestion after indulging in dishes you haven't had in a while.

Get in Movement

Begin your day with a little exercise or a family stroll after your feast. You can even join the clean-up crew! Washing dishes and bustling around the kitchen will keep you off the couch ;)

Stock Up on Gut-Friendly Foods

Give your digestive system the support it needs to bounce back and keep you feeling your best.

Our meals are specifically designed to support your digestive system with nutrient-dense ingredients that are easy to digest and promote healthy gut bacteria. We use a variety of foods that are rich in fiber, prebiotics, probiotics, and enzymes to help your body process and eliminate the excess from the holiday feast.

For example, our meals feature fermented foods like sauerkraut, which are packed with probiotics that can help improve digestion and boost your immune system. We also include foods high in fiber like sweet potatoes, which can help regulate blood sugar.

In addition, our meals are free from common gut irritants like gluten, dairy, and processed sugars, which can exacerbate digestive issues after a big meal. Our chefs source our ingredients from local farms to ensure that our meals are fresh and nutrient-dense.

Plus, you get to enjoy delicious, nourishing food without any of the prep work!
