4 cups organic tomato sauce
½ cup Braggs apple cider vinegar
½ pure maple syrup
1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp chili powder, can be increased according to taste
In a medium saucepan, whisk all ingredients together over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes until thickened
If you like a sweeter sauce, you can incrementally increase the amount of maple syrup until you reach the desired sweetness.
