Carolina Pork Chop Dry Rub

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional- smoked paprika)

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink sea salt
  • 4 tbsp Betr BBQ sauce (optional)

  • 4 4 oz center cut pork chop

Directions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients and mix well

  2. Rub each pork chop with the blend and let sit 5 to 10 minutes to allow the meat to absorb the flavors

  3. While chops are resting, preheat grill and prepare Betr BBQ sauce if desired

  4. Grill chops for 4 minutes and flip, grilling an additional 2 to 4 minutes until done. If you are using Betr BBQ sauce, brush each chop with 1 Tbsp BBQ sauce before and after flipping

  5. Plate, and enjoy!
