French Onion Zucchini Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini, thinly sliced

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp avocado oil

  • 1 tsp Himalayan pink sea salt

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350° F

  2. In a plastic bag, place remaining all ingredients except zucchini and massage until well mixed

  3. Add zucchini slices to the bag and massage well until evenly coated

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the zucchini slices in a single layer, being careful not to overlap slices

  5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until crisp

I had the same experience as the previous commenter – did not get crisp. So I sprinkled them with nutritional yeast and that helped a lot.

1 star – didn’t work. Note the parchment paper is important – don’t replace with foil. But even on the parchment paper, the zucchini never got crisp even though they were thin cut with a mandolin. Consider adjusting the temperature or bake time using other online recipes as a guide.
