Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1lb lean grass fed organic beef*

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced **

  • ½ cup onion, diced**

  • 3 tbsp herbs de providence, herb blend

  • 2 zucchini

  • 1 servng of Betr marinara (can be subbed with any other no sugar added marinara)

  • 6 leaves fresh basil, chopped

  • 3 tbsp hemp seeds

Directions

  1. Warm skillet to medium-high heat

  2. Spray with coconut oil spray or ¼ tsp of coconut oil. Make sure there are no propellants in the spray if chosen

  3. Add garlic, onion, and herbs to the meat. Form into meatballs. Roll in the hemp seeds for an extra crunch and extra omega 3’s

  4. Simmer meatballs in skillet for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime “spiralize” the zucchini (a handheld one can be purchased online or at Bed, Bath, and Beyond)

  5. Add in level 1 marinara (or any other no sugar added marinara) to the skillet with the meatballs and simmer for about 5 minutes to bring out the sweetness of the sauce

  6. Plate the zucchini noodles/“zoodles” and top with sauce and and meatballs. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and enjoy!
