What is the deadline for ordering meals?
All orders must be submitted by Sunday, 11:59pm Eastern to be prepared and delivered fresh by the following Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
Are the meals delivered fresh or frozen?
All Betr meals are delivered fresh and will arrive cool and fully prepared. Meals should be refrigerated immediately or stored in the freezer.
What if I’m only ordering for one person?
The meals offered in our Betr Delivery program are family-style but don’t fret if you’re only ordering for yourself. The food is smartly packaged and can easily turn into leftovers for future meals. If you find that you have more food than you can eat in the short-term, freeze what you don’t need and you’ll be set for the upcoming weeks.
Are all of these meals Level 1 approved?
Every meal will have either a Level 1 or Level 2 badge in the top left hand corner so you can purchase meals based on where you are in your program!
What if I’m a vegetarian?
There are multiple vegetarian options to choose from. If you need help selecting the right meals for your lifestyle, feel free to reach out to your coach or contact us via Insta-Chat! We’d be happy to help.
How many people does 1 meal feed?
Each meal should equate to 4 adult-sized portions. You should also prepare a side item, like a salad, to go with each meal.
Do you deliver everywhere in the U.S.?
Yes! Our delivery service operates nationwide.
How long does it take to receive a delivery?
Because our meals are delivered fresh and not frozen, the timing of the deliveries is based on weekly deadlines. Each delivery will arrive on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday of each week. All orders must be submitted by Sunday at 11:59 am ET in order to be delivered by that upcoming weekend. Depending on shipping, they could be delivered at the latest Sunday morning. They will stay fresh until then!
Can everything be frozen, or do I need to eat some of the meal options right away?
Every meal can be frozen and still taste great! Even the cabbage and spiral zucchini.
What is the best way to heat the meals?
Our 5-star chef explains the best practices are to spoon or fork out your desired portions onto a plate and microwave one minute per serving size but to use your own judgment on how you like things cooked depending on your microwave. Each tray is considered four serving sizes and therefore a whole tray would be four minutes in the microwave.
If using the oven he suggests 10 minutes per tray on 350 but to check frequently for the desired temperature, covered is best with tinfoil.

What is best to use for freezing the meals?
Kristi, one of our chefs, recommends portioning out the meals into individual servings that can be stored in the freezer. This way, you can have proteins on hand for the rest of the month and save yourself time from cooking.
She used a FoodSaver vacuum sealer to store goods in the freezer (Ziplock sealed bags will also work well).
She recommends using 80″x20′ sized bags.
Can I order less than 12 meals?
Our Betr delivery service requires a minimum of 12 meals per order. If you find that this is too much food, freeze the meals that you don’t need at the time and delay your next order for a week or 2. Not only will this make food shopping easier, it will also allow you to plan your meals out for the upcoming weeks.
Who do I speak to about specific allergies?
All ingredient are listed on the ingredients page. If you have any severe allergies that could be cause by contamination we recommend avoiding.
What time will my meals be delivered?
Delivery times will vary, but all meals will be delivered at the latest, Sunday morning.
Do you ship outside of the U.S.?
Our deliveries are limited to United States addresses only. We cannot ship outside of the country.
