Hamburger Lettuce Wrap

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef

  • 2 large leaves romaine lettuce

  • 1/16 tsp himalayan pink sea salt

  • 1 large tomato (sliced, optional)

  • 1/4 yellow or red onion (sliced, optional)

  • Betr Ketchup or low sodium, sugar-free organic ketchup, to taste,

  • Dijon mustard (optional, to taste)

Directions

  1. Take the ground beef and shape it into four rounded patties. Season the patties with salt, pepper, and/or other Level 1 seasonings

  2. Grill burgers on a nonstick pan or on a grill for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side (the cooking time will vary depending on how well done you like your burger)

  3. Wrap the patty in lettuce with tomato, onion, Betr ketchup, and dijon mustard as desired. Enjoy!

This is a delicious and easy to cook recipe. I ate mine just wrapped in lettuce plain which is still good.

It says to divide 1/2 of beef into 4 patties, but then it’s 2 servings? That is confusing.

This was delish! Didn’t need any condiments. I used Bragg’s aminos, Montreal steak seasoning, garlic powder and Himalayan pink salt. Topped with red onion and thin slices of avocado.
