  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 whole lime, juiced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  2. Rub the spice mixture on the top, bottom, and sides

  3. Whisk together the beef broth and tomato paste, then pour over the roast

  4. Cover, and cook on low for 7-9 hours. The roast will be shreddable, and fork tender when ready
